Elgin St, Dai Pai Dong - Hong Kong Greeting Card
Tania Willis: "Hong Kong's much-loved Dai pai dong is a type of open-air food stall in Hong Kong (the literal translation is 'big plate stalls') and an important part of local HK culture. Cheap, fast & tasty food has been enjoyed at these stalls since the end of the Second World War.
'Man Yuen Noodles' is one of HK's most centrally located & popular stalls, famous for it's wonton and cow belly noodles ( $20 a bowl), it stood on 2 Elgin St for 80 years until it's owner Wong Kwong-hing died in 2005."
